AI Tools for Pros exists because most AI coverage is written for tech enthusiasts, not working professionals. We test tools the way you use them: inside real workflows, with real deadlines, and with honest results.
The Founder
I’ve spent more than eight years in SEO, studying how search engines work, what content gets ranked, and why some pages earn trust while others get ignored. When large language models started going mainstream in 2022, I became obsessed with them the same way I’d become obsessed with search algorithms years earlier.
The problem was that almost everything I read about AI tools was written for developers and early adopters. I kept asking: what does a lawyer actually do with this? What does a financial advisor need to know? Nobody seemed to be answering that question honestly, without an agenda.
That’s why I built this site. AI Tools for Pros is the resource I wish had existed when I started testing these tools myself. No paid placements. No vendor relationships. Just honest assessments of what works and what doesn’t, from someone who has spent a career thinking about how information actually gets used.
The Fact-Checker
Ryan Cooper is a product manager and content producer with eight years of experience in the EdTech industry. He has worked on robust resource catalogs for K-12 and Higher Education audiences, specializing in STEM and Civics products.
He currently serves as Senior Product Manager for the Council on Foreign Relations Education department, where he leads cross-functional teams creating digital resources that promote global literacy, used by students in all 50 states.
At AI Tools for Pros, Ryan fact-checks every review for accuracy, verifying claims against vendor documentation, pricing pages, and real-world product behavior. His editorial rigor ensures that what we publish reflects what professionals will actually experience.
Independently tested
Every tool on this site is tested hands-on in realistic professional workflows. We pay for our own subscriptions. No free access deals, no sponsored placements.
Built for practitioners
We write for lawyers, doctors, real estate agents, engineers, and financial advisors. Not for developers or tech hobbyists. Our reviews focus on actual professional use cases.
Kept current
AI tools change fast. We update our reviews when models are updated, pricing changes, or new competitors emerge, so you’re always reading assessments that reflect reality today.
Our editorial independence pledge
AI Tools for Pros will never accept payment from any AI company in exchange for a positive review, a higher ranking, or a recommendation. If that policy ever changes, we will say so explicitly at the top of every affected page.
